What will you do?

If you're an experienced forklift operator looking for a hands-on role in an industrial setting, this is a great opportunity to grow your skills in the environmental services industry. In this position, you'll play an important role in safely receiving, staging, tracking, and processing hazardous waste materials while supporting a safe and compliant operation.

Key Job Responsibilities

  • Safely operate forklifts to unload incoming trailers and move materials throughout the facility
  • Verify incoming shipments and place materials in designated staging or storage areas
  • Follow DOT and facility segregation guidelines for hazardous waste handling
  • Complete inspections and compliance checks including drum integrity, aisle spacing, and labeling requirements
  • Perform daily forklift inspections and basic equipment maintenance such as cleaning and adding fluids
  • Track inventory movements and complete required paperwork including weight sheets, reports, and tracking logs
  • Assist with material preparation, processing operations, and drum sampling as needed
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Do you have what it takes?

    High school diploma or equivalent experience

    Previous forklift operating experience

    Experience in the hazardous waste or environmental services industry is a plus

    Knowledge of DOT or RCRA regulations is preferred

    Ability to pass a pre-employment physical, drug screen, and background check

    Comfortable working in a physically active role involving standing, walking, lifting, pushing, pulling, kneeling, and reaching

    Ability to read, write, and understand English
