The Forklift Material Handler will be responsible for safe and proper unloading of supplies and components from trailers. This position will also be responsible for accurate dock to stock put away, as well as ensuring accurate inventory locations in the warehouse. This position may on occasion be requested to assist with unloading equipment.
Essential Functions:
- Responsible to operate and maintain a sit-down/or stand-up forklift (gas or electric) safely, and for following all safety policies and procedures.
- Responsible for completion of daily operating forklift safety checklist.
- Maintain good housekeeping in area and adhere to Company Safety Policies.
- Possess a sense of urgency, accountability, and be able to work with limited supervision
- Flexibility in working overtime when needed, and supplying coverage to other shifts
Qualifications:
- Lifting items between 25 and 50 pounds required
- Ability to operate at heights up to 50 feet required
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time required
Hours:
Flexible - Able to work (4) ten-hour shifts
Pay:
$20-$24/hr.
