Forklift Operator
Is currently seeking a Forklift Operator to join our team at our Plainfield. This role will focus on the efficient handling and movement of products in a warehouse environment, ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment while maintaining a safe and organized work area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate warehouse equipment (forklifts sit down and reach, pallet jacks, etc.) to load, unload, and move materials
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to customer specifications
- Ensure accuracy of inventory counts and manage stock levels
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment by following all safety procedures
- Assist with organizing and storing goods in proper locations
- Support inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring timely processing
- Work closely with other team members and departments to meet daily goals
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience preferred
- Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse machinery (certification may be required)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
