Working here will make you feel like you're part of a family that works together to make a difference and help nourish millions of families around the world.What You'll Work OnOperate a forklift or other material handling equipment to unload and receive all raw materials in a timely, accurate, and safe manner (full truckload, LTL, railcar, and tanker)Ensure all supplier documentation is complete and correctAccurately count and verify all raw materials prior to unloadingAccurately pull and stage all raw materials needed for productionEnsure all inventory transactions are accurateEnsure Material Inventory Tracking System (MITS) matches physical description, count, location, and status of each raw material itemAssist with cycle counting requirements for all raw materialsAccurately complete InterPlant Transfers (IPT)You'll be accountable for meeting our compliance standards including FDA, OSHA and Abbott policies and procedures.Required QualificationsHigh school diploma or GEDMinimum of two years Forklift experiencePreferred QualificationsKnowledge of inventory control system: i.e. MITS, AMAPS, and Microsoft OfficeExcellent written and verbal communication skillsThe base pay for this position is $17.15 – $34.25 per hour.
