Forklift Driver
Position Overview: As a Forklift Driver, you will play a crucial role in managing inbound materials and maintaining inventory accuracy. Our ideal candidate is safety-oriented, experienced, and thrives in a busy warehouse atmosphere. Pay Rate: $17 - $19 per hour DOE Schedule: Monday to Friday 6:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to maneuver and transport materials.
- Receive, unload, and verify the accuracy of incoming shipments against documentation.
- Efficiently move materials to designated storage locations and ensure proper inventory organization.
- Assist in conducting inventory counts and maintaining accurate documentation.
- Inspect forklift equipment regularly and promptly report any safety concerns.
- Maintain a clean, organized receiving area to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Perform additional duties as required to support warehouse operations.
Qualifications:
- Valid forklift certification and demonstrated experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting.
- Comprehensive understanding of receiving processes and required documentation.
- Proficiency in using RF scanners for inventory management.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and a proven track record of reliability in a fast-paced environment.
