Volunteer Foreign Language Teacher – Early Childhood
Do you love languages and enjoy working with young children? ALCD is looking for enthusiastic volunteers to introduce children ages 3–6 to the excitement of learning a new language.
Our students have already been introduced to several languages through the generosity of volunteers, and we are looking to expand this program by offering additional foreign language experiences. Volunteers will teach basic words and phrases through fun, age-appropriate activities, songs, videos, and conversation.
You do not need to be a certified teacher. We welcome native speakers, bilingual individuals, language students, educators, and anyone who is comfortable speaking another language and enjoys sharing it with children.
Lessons are just 15–30 minutes once a week , and we are flexible and willing to work with your schedule. This is a wonderful opportunity to help young children develop an early appreciation for languages and cultures while building their confidence and curiosity about the world.
