Position Description:
TheFoodServicesSystemsComputer Repair TechnicianisresponsibleformanagingthetasksassociatedwiththeinstallationandmaintenanceofhardwareandsoftwarefortheFoodServicesDepartmentandactsastheliaisonbetweencontractedsoftwarevendorsandtheFoodServices,TechnologyandSISDepartments.TheFoodServicesSystemsComputer Repair TechnicianisalsocrosstrainedtoperformthebasicjobdutiesoftheFoodServicesApplicationManager.

Scope of Responsibility:

Physical Involvement:
Continuous movement is required most of the day; standing, sitting, walking, reaching, bending, and lifting 30 pounds is sometimes required. Must have ability to provide own transportation to schools, work locations, and meeting sites. Must possess mobility skills necessary to access a variety of work areas. Must possess a valid driver's license. Ability to provide own transportation to schools, work locations and meetings, both inside and outside the parish.

- Tracks site health inspections.
- Respondstocafeteriaandcentralofficebasedsoftwareandhardwareissuesinatimely
- Makessitevisitstoschoolswithapersonalvehicleorworksremotelytoresolvereported
- CommunicateseffectivelywiththeJPSTechnologyDepartmentinseekingadditionalhelpinproblem
- InstallshardwareandsoftwareincafeteriaandFoodServices
- Repairsandreconditionsdepartmenthardwareif
- Recommendsthepurchaseofhardwareandancillaryitemsas
- Overseesthesoftwarerolloverprocesspriortothebeginningofeachschool
- TracksandtroubleshootsdailycommunicationsbetweentheFoodServicesandSISsoftware
- ActsasliaisonbetweenFoodServicessoftwarevendorsandotherJPS
- ConductsorassistsintrainingforFoodServices
- Is"oncall"fortasksthatrequirecompletionafterstandardwork
- Maintainsalogofallsoftwareissuesandtheirresolutionasreportedbycafeteriaandcentraloffice
- IscrosstrainedinthebasicresponsibilitiesoftheFoodServicesApplicationManagerandisabletoperformthosetasksas
- PerformsotherdutiesasassignedbytheExecutiveDirectorofFood

- Strongcommunicationskillsinmultiplesettingsandtheabilitytobeanengagingchangeagentandculture creatorthatcaninspireand
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to use quantitative and qualitative data to make decisions and
- Collaborative management style, with a proven track record of working with diverse individuals at all levels to drive decision-makingandproblem
- Highdegreeofprofessionalism,withtheabilitytomanagemultiplecompetingpriorities,whileconsistentlydemonstratingsoundjudgmentanddisciplined
- Competence in using a personal computer including the district's software
