Now Hiring: Dietary Manager / Food Services Director
Qualifications & Responsibilities
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Certified Dietary Manager Certification or willing to become certified
- 2+ years of experience in food service management
- Long term care dietary management experience preferred
- Inspects the Dietary Department daily to ensure that it is safe and sanitary
- Submits written reports to the administration as necessary
- Plans nutritionally balanced & therapeutic meals that reflect the likes and dislikes of residents, as well as Public Health regulations
- Responsible for food purchase, production, and timely service of meals
- Directs and supervises all dietary functions and personnel
- Hires, orients, trains, counsels, disciplines, and when appropriate, terminates dietary employees
- Ability to work independently or part of a group
- Computer knowledge
