Food Quality Specialist (Food Manufacturing)
Torrance, CA (Onsite)
Full-Time Monday Friday 9:00 AM 6:00 PM
Up to $28.00 per hour, with higher compensation available for highly qualified candidates.
A growing international food manufacturer is seeking an experienced Food Quality Specialist to join its Quality Assurance team. This position is ideal for someone with experience in the food and/or beverage manufacturing industry who is passionate about food safety, quality systems, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities
• Support daily Quality Assurance and Quality Control activities
• Investigate product quality issues and customer complaints
• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions
• Coordinate supplier documentation and product specifications
• Prepare for and participate in internal and external audits
• Maintain third-party certifications (Organic, Non-GMO, Kosher, Gluten-Free, etc.)
• Develop and maintain quality procedures and documentation
• Coordinate laboratory testing and finished product sampling
• Communicate with internal departments and the quality team in Japan
• Support continuous improvement initiatives throughout the QA department
Qualifications
• 2+ years of Quality Assurance experience within the food and/or beverage manufacturing industry
• Bachelor's degree in Food Science or a related field preferred
• Experience with food safety, quality systems, audits, or regulatory compliance
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office
• Valid California Driver's License
• Japanese language ability is a plus, but not required
Compensation & Benefits
