About the Opportunity
A leading food manufacturer is seeking an experienced Food Product Development Supervisor to lead new product development initiatives and supervise a talented Research & Development team. This position offers the opportunity to bring innovative food products from concept to commercialization while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead and mentor the Product Development and R&D team.
• Manage new product development projects from concept through commercial production.
• Develop and improve food formulations, ingredients, and manufacturing processes.
• Partner with Quality, Production, Marketing, Sales, Purchasing, and Operations.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, quality, labeling, and regulatory requirements.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and product innovation.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Engineering, or related field
• Food product development or food manufacturing R&D experience
• Supervisory or leadership experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of food formulation and manufacturing processes
• Excellent communication and project management skills
Compensation & Benefits
• $80,000 $100,000 per year (DOE)
