Snappr is seeking talented Food Photographers in Amarillo, TX to join our growing network of professional photographers. We are looking for creative and detail-oriented photographers who can capture food in a visually appealing way, highlighting its presentation, texture, color, and overall quality.
As a Food Photographer, you will work with restaurants and food-service businesses to create professional images that showcase their menu items and culinary offerings. This is an opportunity to use your photography skills across a variety of client projects while working independently in a professional setting.
Responsibilities
-Photograph food and menu items in restaurants and other client locations.
-Work with restaurant owners, chefs, and staff to understand the desired look and photography requirements.
-Arrange and style food to create attractive and appetizing compositions.
-Use professional lighting, camera settings, angles, and composition techniques to achieve high-quality results.
-Capture consistent and visually appealing images that meet client expectations.
-Manage photography equipment and ensure all necessary gear is prepared before each session.
-Complete assignments efficiently and submit images within the required timeframe.
-Maintain a professional and positive experience when working with clients and restaurant teams.
Qualifications
-Must own a DSLR or professional mirrorless camera and appropriate photography equipment.
-Previous photography experience in food, product, commercial, event, portrait, wedding, or related genres is preferred.
-Strong portfolio demonstrating creativity, technical ability, and attention to detail.
-Good understanding of lighting, composition, exposure, and camera techniques.
-Proficiency with professional photography equipment and photo-editing software.
-Strong sense of aesthetics and ability to create clean, appealing, and professional images.
-Ability to work independently while communicating effectively with clients.
-Excellent time-management and organizational skills.
-Reliable, professional, and comfortable working in different restaurant and client environments.
-Ability to travel locally to client locations within the assigned service area.
