Folder Gluer ManagerSeeking an experienced Folder Gluer Manager to oversee folder gluer operations within our fast-paced folding carton and packaging production environment. This leadership role is responsible for managing production personnel, maximizing equipment efficiency, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring customer deadlines are consistently met.The ideal candidate will bring strong hands-on folder gluer experience, leadership abilities, and a deep understanding of packaging production workflows and finishing operations.Responsibilities:Supervise and lead folder gluer operations across multiple shifts and production schedulesManage setup, operation, troubleshooting, and overall performance of folder gluer equipmentEnsure production goals, quality standards, and delivery deadlines are achievedTrain, mentor, and develop folder gluer operators and production staffCoordinate workflow with production management, die cutting, finishing, and shipping departmentsMonitor machine efficiencies, waste levels, downtime, and labor utilizationAssist with scheduling and production planning to maximize throughput and profitabilityTroubleshoot production and equipment issues while implementing corrective actionsMaintain strong quality control standards throughout all production runsEnforce company safety procedures and maintain a clean production environmentSupport continuous improvement initiatives and operational efficienciesQualifications:5+ years of folder gluer experience within folding carton or packaging manufacturing environmentsPrevious supervisory or management experience preferredStrong knowledge of folding carton production and finishing workflowsExperience operating and managing equipment such as Bobst, Signature, Omega, Vega, or similar folder gluers preferredExcellent troubleshooting and mechanical aptitudeAbility to manage production teams in a deadline-driven environmentStrong communication, organizational, and leadership skillsCommitment to quality, safety, and operational efficiencyPreferred Experience:Folding carton packaging productionDie cutting and finishing operationsPackaging quality systems and production metricsLean manufacturing or process improvement initiativesMulti-line folder gluer environmentsWhat We Offer:Competitive compensation package based on experienceStable and growing packaging production environmentLeadership opportunity within a respected finishing operationLong-term career growth potentialCollaborative and team-oriented culture$70,000 - $85,000 a year
