Acquisition Execution And Program Management Support SpecialistGalapagos Federal Systems LLC is looking for an Acquisition Execution and Program Management Support Specialist supporting SAF/SQ (Secretary of the Air Force for Space Acquisition and Integration) position. This role offers the opportunity to work with a diverse and talented group of individuals committed to driving success.The ideal candidate will provide acquisition and program management support to assist in the planning, execution, and oversight of the Department of the Air Force space acquisition programs. This role supports SAF/SQ leadership by coordinating acquisition activities, monitoring program performance, and ensuring alignment with Department of War and Department of the Air Force acquisition policies and procedures.The specialist works with program offices, acquisition stakeholders, and headquarters staff to support program planning, documentation, execution tracking, and reporting activities related to Air Force and U.S. Space Force space acquisition initiatives.Key Responsibilities:Provide acquisition execution and program management support for space acquisition programs and initiatives within SAF/SQAssist in the development and coordination of acquisition documentation, including acquisition strategies, program plans, and milestone documentationSupport monitoring and tracking of program cost, schedule, and performance metrics to ensure program objectives are metCoordinate with program management offices, acquisition teams, and headquarters organizations to support program execution and reporting requirementsAssist with preparation of program reviews, leadership briefings, and status reports for senior Department of the Air Force leadershipSupport planning and coordination of program milestones, acquisition reviews, and decision eventsTrack and manage program documentation, action items, and taskers to support acquisition program executionAssist in the development and maintenance of program management artifacts, including schedules, risk registers, and performance metricsSupport coordination with financial management, contracting, engineering, and logistics teams to ensure integrated program executionMonitor compliance with DoW and Department of the Air Force acquisition policies, procedures, and reporting requirementsRequirements Skills and Experience:Active TS/SCIExperience supporting acquisition programs, program management offices (PMOs), or program execution activities in a DoD, Air Force, or Space Force environmentKnowledge of the DoD acquisition framework, program lifecycle management, and acquisition policiesFamiliarity with program management processes, including cost, schedule, and performance managementExperience supporting development of acquisition documentation, program plans, and milestone packagesAbility to track and analyze program performance metrics and program management dataExperience coordinating across multiple stakeholders including program offices, contracting teams, and financial management organizationsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to prepare briefings, reports, and executive summariesAbility to manage multiple priorities and support complex acquisition activities in a headquarters environmentExperience supporting space acquisition or national security space programsEducation and Certifications:Bachelor's degree in business administration, Program Management, Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Public Administration, or Acquisition or Contract ManagementMaster's degree in business administration (MBA), Program Management, Systems Engineering, or a related fieldDefense Acquisition Workforce Certification (DAWIA / DAWIA-equivalent) in Program Management or AcquisitionProject Management Professional (PMP)Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP)Certified Federal Contracts Manager (CFCM)Program Management or acquisition-related certifications relevant to DoD acquisition environmentsBenefits:Medical, dental, vision, disability, and life insuranceFlexible Spending Accounts401(k)PTOPaid Parental LeaveTuition reimbursementPaid federal holidaysSecurity Clearance: Must be a U.S.
