FLYERS Afterschool Program Site SupportUnder supervision, supports the Program Coordinator in daily operations of the assigned FLYERS afterschool program site for elementary age students. Must be comfortable and able to make decisions and be the person in charge when the Program Coordinator is absent. Continually engages in activities with children and provides quality care and enrichment that enhances children's social skills, elevates activity level and extends learning in a fun and safe environment.Key Functions:Complies with all applicable policies, procedures, laws and regulationsAssist Program Coordinator with planning and instructing of academic, recreational, and enrichment activitiesAssist Program coordinator with coaching, mentoring and keeping staff on task when necessaryUses proactive decision-making and best practices toward a healthy and safe environmentActively engages in student activities with a passion for working with childrenAssure used areas and shared school space is well maintainedDevelops and maintains effective communication and positive working relationshipsServes as Program Coordinator in Program Coordinator's absenceOther duties as assignedThe LSC Way:Our Culture is a top priority.

Physical demands are in excess of those for sedentary work; must be able to remain on feet for extended periods of time.
