Role Description
This is a full-time, field-based role for a Medical Gas Technician. The Medical Gas Technician will be responsible for installing, inspecting, testing, and maintaining medical gas and ventilation systems to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. The role includes conducting detailed performance assessments, producing reports, and troubleshooting issues related to gas systems and ventilation installations. Additionally, the role requires close communication with clients to provide knowledge and insights that enhance healthcare safety and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Experience in installation, maintenance, and testing of medical gas systems and ventilation systems
- Familiarity with ASSE 6030/6040 standards and relevant compliance regulations
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills in technical and mechanical systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for preparing reports and explaining processes to clients
- Ability to manage time effectively and work in a fast-paced, on-site environment
- ASSE 6030/6040 Certification Required
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel
