Seeking a Florida Licensed Underwriting Counsel, the full-time remote position will manage large volumes of files, underwrite title insurance, and provide guidance on real estate settlement services while ensuring compliance with underwriting standards. Key responsibilities Handle large volumes of time-sensitive transaction files using experience and judgment Utilize underwriting standards to underwrite title insurance and support real estate settlement services Provide counsel and authorization to personnel and clients regarding title insurance commitments and policies Required qualifications Juris Doctor and active member of a State Bar 10+ years of experience as Commercial Underwriting Counsel Knowledge of the title insurance industry and commercial insurance coverage Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex legal documents Proficient in Microsoft Office and willing to learn new software systems
