Florida Licensed Triage Nurse

To support a growing oncology practice, the full-time Florida Licensed Triage Nurse will provide individualized care and clinical guidance to patients and families, triaging calls related to treatment and appointment information while working remotely. Key responsibilities Triaging oncology patient calls and providing symptom management to minimize emergency department visits Facilitating communication among the multidisciplinary cancer care team to ensure coordinated patient care Offering ongoing education and resources to patients and caregivers regarding treatment and clinical issues Required qualifications Registered Nurse multistate or Florida single state licensure required Minimum of an Associate Degree in Nursing; Bachelor's Degree preferred Three years or more of experience as an RN, with at least two years in oncology Certification as an Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) preferred Strong telephonic assessment and communication skills
