Florida Licensed Specialty Pharmacist

To support specialty pharmaceutical practices, the full-time Florida Licensed Specialty Pharmacist will manage relationships with physicians, facilitate prescription processes, and advocate for patient access while working in a hybrid environment based in Orlando, FL. Key responsibilities Access and establish communication with specialty practices to promote pharmacy partnerships Process prescriptions, including insurance adjudication and prior authorization management Coordinate patient care by ensuring timely refills and addressing clinical questions Required qualifications Current unrestricted pharmacist license in Florida; PharmD degree strongly preferred 5+ years of experience in community, retail, ambulatory pharmacy, or health-system settings Previous experience in specialty pharmacy and processing prior authorizations is highly desirable Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with pharmacy dispensing systems Comfortable working with complex disease states and clinical data
