To support the Veteran community, a Florida Licensed Sleep Medicine Physician will provide comprehensive care for sleep disorders in a full-time remote role, managing patient evaluations, treatment plans, and documentation in accordance with VHA guidelines. Key responsibilities Manage comprehensive sleep disorders and related medical conditions, performing direct patient care as needed Evaluate patients, order appropriate testing, and monitor test results, discussing management plans with patients Document all patient interactions in the electronic health record (EHR) within mandated timeframes Required qualifications Authorization to work in the U.S. permanently, without sponsorship Graduate of an accredited medical school with an MD or DO degree Current, full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in a U.S. state or territory Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications Board Certified or Board Eligible in Sleep Medicine by the American Board of Medical Specialties
