Managing the claims process for moderately complex commercial general liability construction defect cases, the full-time Florida Licensed Senior Claims Specialist will ensure timely and fair resolution while adhering to company policies and regulatory requirements in a remote work environment. Key responsibilities: Investigate, evaluate, and resolve moderately complex claims in accordance with company guidelines and applicable laws Review policy coverage and determine exposure based on contract terms and legal precedents Negotiate fair and timely settlements with claimants, attorneys, and third-party representatives Required qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Insurance, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent work experience 3-5 years of experience handling insurance claims within the property and casualty or specialty lines industry Experience interpreting policy language, coverage analysis, and managing claim negotiations State adjuster license where required or ability to obtain within specified timeframe Preferred industry designations such as AIC (Associate in Claims) or CPCU (Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter)
