Florida Licensed Risk Adjustment Coder

To support health information management efforts, the full-time Florida Licensed Risk Adjustment Coder will review and translate chronic conditions into diagnosis codes, ensuring compliance with coding guidelines while working remotely. Key responsibilities Review and accurately translate chronic conditions into appropriate diagnosis codes from outpatient encounters Extract data for Health Plan reports and input data collected from HCC programs, ensuring compliance with coding standards Perform concurrent chart reviews and physician queries for coding and documentation clarification Required qualifications High School diploma or equivalent Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) or Certified Professional Coder (CPC) certification Basic knowledge of MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) Understanding of HIPAA protocols and state and federal coding guidelines Experience in health information management or related field
