To support a high-acuity emergency department, the full-time Florida Licensed Registered Nurse will provide critical patient care from 1:00 PM to 1:00 AM, demonstrating advanced nursing skills and collaborating with medical staff to manage complex patient conditions. Key responsibilities Demonstrates critical knowledge and skills to care for patients requiring high-level interventions and continuous monitoring Assesses patient needs, develops individualized care plans, and evaluates progress toward expected outcomes Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to effectively manage patient care and serves as a mentor and role model for staff Required qualifications Current licensure as a registered nurse in the State of Florida or Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications preferred Minimum of one year of experience as a Registered Nurse; 2-3 years in an Emergency Department setting highly preferred Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree (BSN) preferred Ability to demonstrate advanced knowledge and skills necessary for age-specific patient care
