Florida Licensed Prior Authorization Pharmacist

To support a high-volume pharmacy program, the full-time Florida Licensed Prior Authorization Pharmacist will manage clinical reviews and prior authorization coverage determinations remotely, requiring one weekend day of work each week. Key Responsibilities Review prior authorization requests for accuracy and medical necessity Communicate approvals, denials, and incomplete requests to providers and patients Document determinations and manage a daily workload of approximately 40 PA cases Required Qualifications Active Pharmacist license in Florida 2+ years of prior authorization review experience Experience in PBM, Managed Care, or Health Plans strongly preferred Bachelor's in Pharmacy required; PharmD preferred Ability to work CST hours and one weekend day weekly
