Florida Licensed Practical Nurse

To provide essential nursing care in a remote setting, the full-time Florida Licensed Practical Nurse will collect patient data, administer medications, assist with clinical procedures, and educate patients while adhering to established protocols under supervision. Key Responsibilities Collect patient histories, vital signs, and other clinical data, communicating significant findings to the supervising clinician Administer medications, treatments, and routine nursing interventions as authorized by law and organizational policy Prepare patients and examination rooms for clinical visits, tests, and procedures, while documenting care activities accurately in the electronic health record Required Qualifications Graduation from an accredited practical or vocational nursing program with 0 to 2 years of post-license clinical nursing experience Active and unrestricted Licensed Practical Nurse or Licensed Vocational Nurse license in Florida Current Basic Life Support certification preferred; additional certifications may be required based on the care setting Foundational knowledge of practical nursing standards and medication administration Ability to use electronic health record systems and clinical equipment effectively
