Driving quality performance in a fully remote capacity, the full-time Florida Licensed Physician Advisor will conduct case reviews, ensure compliance with clinical documentation, and collaborate with hospital staff and third-party payers to optimize healthcare resource utilization. Key responsibilities Conduct case reviews to ensure compliance and appropriate utilization of healthcare services Act as a consultant for attending physicians regarding patient status and resource utilization Manage denials and facilitate communication with third-party payers to prevent service denials Required qualifications MD or DO with a current, unrestricted medical license in the state of residence 1-3 years of Physician Advisor experience and clinical experience in a hospital-based setting Strong computer skills and working knowledge of EMRs Demonstrated ability to build rapport with medical staff and hospital leadership Board Certified / Eligible preferred
