Florida Licensed Pathology Coder

To support a dynamic healthcare team, the full-time Professional Fee Pathology Coder will review pathology documentation, assign accurate ICD-10-CM and CPT codes, and perform charge entry functions while ensuring coding compliance and quality standards. Key Responsibilities Review pathology documentation and assign accurate ICD-10-CM diagnosis codes and CPT procedure codes Perform professional fee coding for pathology accounts in accordance with coding guidelines and payer requirements Complete charge entry for coded services in a timely and accurate manner Required Qualifications Minimum 2 years of Professional Fee Pathology coding experience Strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM diagnosis coding and CPT coding for pathology services Experience working within Epic and Optum coding systems Ability to work independently while maintaining productivity and quality standards Effective written and verbal communication skills
