To support oncology services, the part-time Florida Licensed Oncology Data Specialist will identify clinical discrepancies, track cancer patients longitudinally, and abstract patient data while working remotely. Key responsibilities Identify and escalate clinical variability or documentation discrepancies to leadership Track cancer patients throughout the continuum and maintain follow-up to meet regulatory deadlines Abstract and clinically code accurate patient data using appropriate cancer classification and coding systems Required qualifications Oncology Data Specialist (ODS) certification 2+ years of cancer registry abstraction experience Strong understanding of complex medical conditions and surgical procedures Proficient in Microsoft 365 applications Knowledge of various electronic medical records systems such as CRStar and Cerner
