To support the Neuro Step Down Unit, the full-time Florida Licensed Nurse Resident will administer patient care in an inpatient setting, focusing on neurological conditions while receiving structured orientation and mentorship from experienced nurses. Key responsibilities Administers bedside patient care under supervision, including ongoing assessments and individualized care plans Evaluates patient progress and collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to manage care effectively Documents patient care accurately, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and hospital policies Required qualifications Nursing school graduate Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Florida or valid Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) multistate RN license Maintains current BLS/Healthcare Provider certification Meets all mandatory, developmental, and performance competency requirements for the unit/department No prior experience required
