To support mortgage application processes, the full-time Florida Licensed Mortgage Consultant will originate applications by phone, maintain effective communication with members and stakeholders, and ensure compliance with underwriting guidelines in a remote work environment. Key responsibilities Interviews members to gather and input accurate information into mortgage and consumer loan origination systems Communicates with members throughout the decision-making process and notifies them of loan decisions Reviews documentation for compliance with underwriting guidelines and submits applications to underwriters with recommendations Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in a business-related field or equivalent experience 4+ years of mortgage lending experience with a financial institution Good knowledge of regulatory compliance including TRID, HMDA, ECOA, FNMA, and PMI Ability to analyze and resolve complex problems effectively Strong interpersonal skills to interact with members, staff, and regulators
