To support a multispecialty ambulatory environment, the full-time Florida Licensed Coding Educator will perform comprehensive audits of professional coding and clinical documentation, validate coding accuracy, and deliver targeted education to coders and providers in a fully remote setting. Key responsibilities: Conduct prospective and retrospective audits of coding and medical records to ensure compliance with coding guidelines and regulations Document audit findings clearly and objectively, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement Develop and deliver education to coders and clinical departments based on audit results and coding updates Required qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required One or more coding certifications such as CPC, CCS, or CCS-P Minimum of five years of professional coding experience, preferably in a large academic or multispecialty setting Prior experience in coding audits and education strongly preferred Expert knowledge of ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS coding guidelines
