Florida Licensed Coding Auditor

To support high-quality coding practices, the full-time Florida Licensed Coding Auditor will conduct pre-bill high-risk audits, validate DRG integrity, and collaborate with clinical teams remotely. Key responsibilities Conduct pre-bill high-risk audits targeting complex inpatient and outpatient cases Perform advanced DRG validation and ensure appropriate application of coding methodologies Collaborate with coding teams and clinical documentation improvement (CDI) to resolve complex documentation scenarios Required qualifications Associates degree in a healthcare-related discipline 6+ years of acute care inpatient or outpatient hospital coding experience 4+ years of auditing experience Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) or equivalent coding certification Advanced knowledge of ICD-10-CM/PCS or CPT/HCPCS coding methodologies
