Overview
We are seeking an energetic and professional floor manager to join our dynamic rooftop bar and restaurant. Located close to major sporting arenas, our venue offers a fast-paced environment where attention to detail and a commitment to exceptional service are essential.
Job purpose
Floor Manager at KAIYO: To manage daily company operations to ensure a positive, safe, and profitable working environment and to direct, control, and organize all staff. You need to be a problem solver with a strong work ethic and exceptional leadership skills.
Responsibilities
- Operational Supervision: set a good example for the staff concerning punctuality, attendance, attitude, safety, and hygiene; promote Personal Safety, Food Safety, and Fire Safety standards; communicate regularly with staff through staff meetings, appraisals, and one-on-one coaching; develop operational strategy and ensure activities meet organizational requirements; address operational issues promptly; perform other tasks, including cross-training, as directed.
- Staff Productivity: ensure employees follow company standards, policies, and strategies; delegate daily work assignments; coach and develop employees to build a strong, cohesive team; stay informed of relevant labor laws, workplace safety, harassment issues, and employee rights; communicate regularly with staff, heads of departments, and ownership; coordinate with customers and management regarding product and service quality; collaborate with ownership and management on policy issues and changes when necessary; coordinate with staff and management for promotional events and special occasions (private parties, buyouts, etc.).

Compensation
Compensation: $26-$32 + Tips, Health Insurance, Dental + Vision, 401K, Sick Pay. Opportunities for training and promotion to a serving position.
