Radiologic Technologist – Float

Join Vancouver Clinic as a full‑time Radiologic Technologist – Float. In this role, you will provide high‑quality diagnostic imaging services by performing ordered exams, ensuring test accuracy, maintaining equipment, and following departmental protocols for consistent patient care.

You will also support patients throughout the imaging process by explaining procedures, assisting with exam preparation, addressing concerns, and ensuring clear discharge instructions before they leave.

Schedule and Location

Float positions require a variable schedule, including day and evening shifts as well as weekend coverage for urgent care locations. Schedules are posted 30 days in advance.

• Float differential pay ($3.00 per hour)
• Saturday/Sunday differential pay ($2.50 per hour)
• Evening after 5:30 p.m. differential pay ($3.00 per hour)

Compensation

• Base pay range: $36.60–$45.88 per hour (range may vary based on experience)
• With differential pay, total earnings can range from $35.88 to $53.82 per hour

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging examinations as ordered.
• Ensure test accuracy and compliance with quality standards.
• Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment.
• Follow departmental protocols to ensure patient safety and comfort.
• Educate patients on imaging procedures and obtain informed consent.
• Provide clear discharge instructions and answer patient questions.

Requirements

• Graduate of an ARRT‑accredited school of radiology.
• Current Washington State radiology license.
• American Heart Association Health Care Provider BLS CPR certification.
• Minimum of one year of radiology experience preferred.
