Schedule: Full-Time | 1st Shift | Monday - Friday | 6:00 AM - 5:00 PM (8-hour shifts; start time may vary depending on assigned location)
Job Overview
Our client is seeking an experienced Phlebotomist I to join their team in a float position supporting multiple Patient Service Centers (PSC) and In-Office Phlebotomy (IOP) locations. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of phlebotomy experience , be comfortable working independently as well as in a team environment, and have strong pediatric and geriatric blood draw skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collection on patients of all ages.
- Collect, label, process, and prepare specimens accurately.
- Travel between multiple assigned PSC and IOP locations as needed.
- Work independently at IOP sites and collaboratively at PSC locations.
- Verify patient information and maintain accurate documentation.
- Follow safety, infection control, and specimen handling procedures.
- Deliver excellent patient care while maintaining professionalism.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 1-2 years of recent phlebotomy experience.
- Experience performing pediatric and geriatric blood draws.
- Reliable transportation for travel between assigned locations.
- Strong patient interaction and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and adapt to different work locations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in both Patient Service Centers and physician office settings.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Required Compliance
- Color Vision Test (Required)
- Negative THC Drug Screen (Required)
- Hepatitis B vaccination is recommended but may be declined.
- Flu and COVID-19 vaccinations are not required .
