The Float DON will step into leadership roles at various facilities during times of transition, vacancy, or leave, ensuring continuity of care, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence. This is a dynamic, travel-based role ideal for a confident nursing leader who thrives in fast-paced environments.Float DON Key Responsibilities:Serve as interim DON at assigned SNF facilitiesLead and support nursing teams to maintain high-quality care standardsEnsure compliance with all federal, state, and local healthcare regulationsImplement and monitor clinical policies, procedures, and best practicesProvide mentorship and stabilization during leadership transitionsCollaborate with facility administrators and interdisciplinary teamsFloat DON Qualifications:Current and valid RN license (multi-state or state-specific as required)Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Director of Nursing in a SNF/LTC settingProven ability to lead, motivate, and support clinical teamsStrong knowledge of state and federal regulations (CMS, OSHA, etc.)Flexibility and willingness to travel to multiple locations as needed
