This position offers a consistent schedule of Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM, providing excellent work-life balance.Float locations include: Decatur, Buckhead, Lawrenceville, Sandy Springs, Gainesville, Athens, Marietta, and Johns Creek but could vary depending on where candidate lives.Mileage reimbursement will be provided for travel to any locations outside of your designated home baseDuties/Responsibilities:Demonstrates the company's values in daily activitiesPerforms complex tasks associated with the operation of CT scanners and related equipment to produce cross-section images of patients' internal organs and tissues for the diagnosis of medical issuesPositions patients for CT scans using immobilization and protective equipment to comply with government regulations and to ensure the safety of patients and staffScreens patients for CT safety prior to procedure performanceStarts I.V.'s, administers contrast media as directed and per protocolEvaluates CT scans for technical quality, collates processed images and sequences of exposure and labels appropriatelyLoads and operates power injectors for contrast media administrationApplies the profession's code of ethics in all aspects of practiceMaintains knowledge of, observes, and enforces the safety measures in the Environment of CareMaintains accurate patient records.Assists in other modalities as requested and as allowed by licensure/certificationRequired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Knowledge of and adherence to company policies and protocolsKnowledge of and adherence to HIPAA and safety guidelinesKnowledge of cross-sectional anatomyKnowledge of current technical skills and procedural understanding to perform a full range of scanning proceduresKnowledge of and adherence to ALARA principlesKnowledge of basic level computer skillsSkill in organizing and prioritizing work and following assignments through to completionSkill in written and verbal communicationAbility to operate and adjust scanning and ancillary equipmentAbility to take initiative to improve processes, think strategically, and identify trendsAbility to provide open, honest feedback to improve decision-makingAbility to maintain and build constructive relationships that produce resultsAbility to work independently, as a team, and in a fast-paced environment and meet established deadlinesAbility to be flexible in schedule and adaptable to constant changeAbility to effectively handle details with accuracyAbility to maintain regular attendance and on-time approval to work as scheduledAbility to deliver high-quality customer service to internal and external customers by communicating with integrity and compassionAbility to resolve service recovery issues and understand when to escalate to the next levelAbility to remain calm in difficult situationsEducation and Experience:Graduate of 24-month AMA-approved School of Radiology Technology12 months previous experience in diagnostic radiology or other imaging modalityARRT certification in Computed TomographyApplicable State Licensure, where requiredIV credentialed if applicableBLS certification preferredBenefits (Please note that eligibility for benefits is based on position type and status and certain positions may not be eligible for all the benefits listed below)Medical / Dental / Vision / Life / Pharmacy Plans, with Benefits effective first day of the month following hire date401(k) matchingMonthly bonus opportunityPaid Vacation TimePTO Accrual Beginning Day 1Colleague Referral Bonus ProgramLumexa Imaging provides a competitive compensation program to attract, retain, and motivate a high-performance workforce.Lumexa Imaging is an equal opportunity employer.
