Float Aircraft Maintenance Technician - RW (NE)
We’re hiring a Float Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) to oversee maintenance and safety of our fleet across multiple locations. The technician will be qualified to support AS350, EC130, and EC135 airframes.
Location: Sacramento, CA & Remote travel as required (no need to reside in CA)
Salary: $76,752 – $111,946 annually (including 20% geo modifier)
Float Stipend: $10,400
IA Stipend: $2,080
Sign-On Bonus: $12,500
Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance services including mechanical inspections, screening, repairs, and provide status updates to the Lead Technician.
- Manage inventory checks, update equipment tracking logs, place replacement requests, and document part expenditures.
- Document service paperwork and FAA information, adhere to policies and procedures, and maintain information security standards.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment for the aircraft maintenance team and flight crew.
- Communicate effectively to coordinate efforts between departments, vendors, and team members.
- Collaborate professionally with allied health, public safety personnel, AMTs, and operations staff.
Minimum Required Qualifications
- 3 years of turbine powered helicopter experience.
- Valid Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) license.
- State-issued driver's license.
- High School diploma or GED.
- Knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations.
- Experience with EMS systems, aircraft maintenance systems, records, and maintenance support planning.
- Flexible schedule including overtime and 24/7 on‑call rotations.
- FAA drug and alcohol testing compliance.
- Ability to push/pull over 100 lbs and lift/carry up to 50 lbs.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with AS350, EC135, and EC130 maintenance.
- FAA Inspection Authorization Certificate.
- Experience under CFR Parts 133, 135, and 145.
- Autopilot maintenance experience.
- Avionics and electrical repair experience.
