Float Admissions Director

Family of Caring is hiring a Float Admissions Director for its family-owned network of skilled nursing and rehabilitation centers in North Jersey. For over 35 years, our buildings have earned a history of deficiency-free New Jersey surveys by holding to one standard: Excellence in Care is our Bottom Line. As Float Admissions Director, you will support admissions across our facilities in Bergen, Passaic, and Essex counties.

The Float Admissions Director covers for a building's Admissions Director who is on vacation or out. When no one is out, the Float Admissions Director works at the facility that needs the most help, often on week-long projects. Prior nursing home experience is required for the Float Admissions Director role.

Float Admissions Director Duties

• Run admissions at facilities when their Admissions Director is on vacation or out
• Manage referrals, pre-admission screening, and insurance verification
• Build relationships with hospital case managers and discharge planners
• Lead week-long admissions projects at the buildings that need the most support
• Coordinate each admission with nursing, the business office, and facility leadership

Float Admissions Director Compensation and Schedule

• Pay: $80,000 – $95,000 per year
• Full-time, Monday–Friday
• Based in Paramus, NJ, with travel between facilities in Bergen, Passaic, and Essex counties

Float Admissions Director Qualifications

• Admissions Director experience required
• Must have experience in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) / long-term care (LTC) setting
