Telemetry (TM)/Flight Termination System (FTS) EngineerLockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control in Grand Prairie, Texas is seeking a Telemetry (TM)/Flight Termination System (FTS) engineer to support development, missile integration, and flight test for an Advanced Program.What You Will Be Doing:Supporting design, fabrication, and procurement of the TM/FTS for the missile systemSupport integration and qualification of the TM and FTS subsystemsSupport the integration of the TM/FTS with the missile, including ground station interface and test supportCoordination with Range Safety Officers (RSO) and providing appropriate flight safety documentation to support flight testsSupport Flight Test Planning, Flight Test Readiness Reviews, Flight Readiness Checks, and Flight Tests at United States test locationsWhy Join Us:We are committed to supporting your work-life balance and overall well-being, offering flexible scheduling options. Discover more about our Dallas, Texas location.Basic Qualifications:Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in an Electrical or Electronics Engineering with 3 years of professional experienceStrong electronic systems design, integration, testing, and excellent troubleshooting skillsProficient in Microsoft Office 365 applications, basic electrical, software, and mechanical engineering skillsDomestic travel will be requiredAbility to obtain a Secret Clearance requiredDesired Skills:Experience with TM/FTS subsystemsExperience with Electromagnetic Environmental Effects (E3) and Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) testingExperience with FTS initiators and destruct chargesExperience in Subcontractor Supplier ManagementFamiliarity with Electronic Packaging DesignFamiliarity with Peer and Design Assurance Reviews and Configuration ManagementStrong background in cross-discipline systems engineering practices including requirements development/maintenance, architecture, test equipment hardware/software design, integration, and verificationExperience using Test Equipment including Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, and OscilloscopesExperience with Datalinks and Global Positioning System (GPS) Receivers/AntennasSecurity Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
