To support the Orion MPCV Spacecraft docking software development, the full-time Flight Software Developer will work remotely, collaborating with a team of engineers to verify flight code, create test cases in Python, and incorporate lessons learned from prior missions. Key responsibilities Verify flight requirements through final run for record in collaboration with NASA and Lockheed engineers Create and execute Python-based test cases to ensure success criteria are met Review existing GNCP verification tests, identify issues, and implement corrections Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in computer science, aerospace, or a related engineering field 2 or more years of relevant experience, including previous software verification experience High level of proficiency in Python, specifically for software testing Knowledgeable in Linux and Matlab environments U.S. citizenship required due to facility security requirements
