By combining multi-domain platforms, advanced sensing, secure networks, and AI-enabled analytics, Ondas helps defense, government, and critical infrastructure customers transform complex mission data into decision-ready insights when and where they matter most.The Flight Operator (CP) supports real-time flight operations for high-altitude balloon systems. CPs monitor vehicle health, navigation, and communications, execute standard operating procedures, and support Flight Directors during all phases of flight. This role is foundational to safe, continuous operations and serves as a development pathway to Flight Director.Role Responsibilities:Monitor real-time telemetry, navigation data, and vehicle healthExecute standard operating procedures and checklists during flightSupport Flight Director decision-making with situational awareness and data analysisMaintain accurate flight logs, pass downs, and shift handoversMonitor airspace boundaries and support regulatory compliance requirementsAssist with ascent, Float, station-keeping, and termination operationsCoordinate with recovery teams as directedEscalate anomalies or off-nominal conditions promptlySupport 24/7 operations including night and weekend shiftsParticipate in simulations and operational readiness activitiesRequired Qualifications:Technical operations experience (aviation, UAS, aerospace, maritime, or similar)Ability to work in a fast-paced, safety-critical environmentStrong attention to detail and procedural disciplineComfortable working rotating shifts, including nights/weekendsStrong communication and teamwork skillsAbility to maintain focus during long-duration monitoring tasksGreat to Have:Prior experience in mission control, UAS operations, or aviation operationsFamiliarity with navigation, weather, or telemetry systemsExperience with FAA, CASA, or airspace coordination processesBackground in UAS, aviation, or military operationsWhat We Offer:You will work side by side with experts in emerging technology, gaining exposure to cutting edge ideas and projects that are shaping the future.
