Flexographic Press OperatorWe are hiring an experienced Flexographic Press Operator to join a manufacturing and printing operation in Anderson, SC. This position is ideal for a dependable, detail-oriented operator with hands-on experience running flexographic printing presses and a strong understanding of print quality, machine setup, and production processes.Job ResponsibilitiesOperate and monitor flexographic printing presses throughout the production processSet up presses for different jobs, including loading materials, adjusting settings, and changing plates, inks, and other componentsMonitor print quality, color, registration, and overall production specificationsMake adjustments to press settings to maintain consistent quality and production ratesPerform routine inspections and quality checks during productionTroubleshoot basic equipment and printing issuesFollow job specifications, work instructions, and production schedulesRecord production information, materials used, downtime, and quality issuesMaintain a clean and organized work areaFollow all safety procedures and company policiesPerform routine press cleaning and basic maintenance as neededWork closely with other production team members to meet quality and productivity goalsQualificationsPrevious hands-on experience operating a flexographic printing press is requiredExperience in a commercial printing, label, flexible packaging, or converting environment preferredKnowledge of press setup, changeovers, inks, plates, registration, and print qualityAbility to identify and correct basic printing and equipment issuesStrong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality productsAbility to read and follow job specifications and production instructionsBasic math and measurement skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentReliable attendance and a strong work ethicAbility to stand for extended periods and lift/move materials as required
