Machine Operator OpportunityHiFyve is hiring a Machine Operator!Starting Pay: $20-$30+/hr (Depends on experience level and skills)Shift: 2nd Shift (2pm - 10pm)Location: Fort Atkinson, WIJob Duties and ResponsibilitiesAssist the Machine Operator with the setup and operation of production equipmentSet up equipment accurately while following established operating and safety proceduresSupport efficient machine operation to maximize production output, capacity, and qualityInspect tooling before and after production runs and identify components requiring repair or maintenanceHelp minimize material, ink, adhesive, and other production wastePerform routine quality checks throughout production, including inspecting product dimensions, scoring, slotting, material quality, printing, and foldingAssist with troubleshooting equipment and production issuesSubmit maintenance work orders for equipment requiring repairComplete daily and weekly machine cleaning and housekeeping activitiesMonitor equipment performance and communicate issues to the Machine Operator and production leadershipProvide recommendations to improve production efficiency, scheduling, quality, and cost performanceFollow all company quality standards and procedures to ensure customer requirements are metMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work areaCommunicate effectively with production team members, supervisors, and other departmentsFollow all company policies, procedures, and workplace safety requirementsEducation RequirementsHigh school diploma or GED requiredKnowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesMinimum 1 year of relevant manufacturing or production experience preferredExperience operating or assisting with industrial production equipment preferredCorrugated, paper, packaging, printing, or converting industry experience preferredStrong mechanical aptitude and ability to learn production equipmentStrong attention to detail and commitment to product qualityAbility to identify quality defects and production issuesAbility to work effectively as part of a production teamStrong communication and problem-solving skillsAbility to follow written and verbal instructionsCommitment to safe work practices and maintaining a clean work environmentAbility to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentBenefits IncludeCompetitive hourly compensationMedical, dental, and vision insurancePrescription drug coverageWellness programsShort-term and long-term disability insuranceLife insurance401(k) with company matchPaid time off and additional benefitsStable manufacturing environment with opportunities for career growth
