Flexo Press OperatorWe are seeking a skilled Flexo Press Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating flexographic printing presses to produce high-quality labels and packaging materials. Entry-level and intermediate skill levels are welcome to apply!ResponsibilitiesReview job tickets and work orders for setup instructions, ink specifications, and materials.Mount plates, load rolls, and complete make-ready adjustments on the press.Monitor color accuracy, registration, tension, and die-cuts during production runs.Troubleshoot mechanical or print quality issues as they occur.Clean plates, cylinders, and ink pans, and perform basic machine maintenance.Maintain a clean work area and adhere to all safety and LEAN manufacturing rules.Essential SkillsExperience in printing press operation and machine setup.Proficient in changeover and mechanical aptitude.Knowledge of packaging, printing, and machine operation in corrugated and die-cutting processes.Familiarity with flexography, machine setup, make-ready processes, and label making.Experience with programming and operation of Nilpeter presses.Additional Skills & QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED required.1 to 2 years of hands-on experience with flexographic presses preferred.Strong math skills and ability to read a ruler or measuring tape.Clear color vision and strong mechanical aptitude.Physical ability to stand for long shifts and lift up to 50 lbs.Why Work Here?Join a dynamic team that values safety and efficiency. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
