DeVivo Companies currently has a full-time Fleet Technician opening at our location in Lancaster, NY. This position works at a customer facility and will help maintain a fleet of 140 dry vans, 120 reefer trailers and 6 yard horses.

Primary Responsibilities:

n
• n

  Maintain and repair fleet of trailers per industry standards.

  n
n
• n

  Follow established technical & administrative processes.

  n
n
• n

  Complete repair orders, parts usage forms, PM lists, and parts accountability.

  n
n
• n

  Communicate effectively with supervisor, team members, & customers.

  n
n
• n

  Remain current on technical & regulation requirements.

  n
n
• n

  Perform road service calls and road rescue/transport equipment as required.

  n
n
• n

  Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with workplace safety rules, regulations, and government guidelines.

Position Requirements:

n
• n

  2 years- experience as an automotive, truck, bus, or trailer technician.

  n
n
• n

  Ability to prioritize and complete job assignments.

  n
n
• n

  Proficient with computer operation/usage.

  n
n
• n

  Valid driver-s license, CDL preferred.

  n
n
• n

  Reliable, motivated, strong work ethic, and a can-do attitude.

• n

  Owns and maintains the proper hand tools to perform job functions.

  n

• n

  A New York State motor vehicle inspector certificate is preferred but not required.
