Its employees consistently rank Moss as one of the best places to work.POSITION SCOPE AND ORGANIZATIONAL IMPACTThe Fleet Safety Specialist supports and advances Moss’s non-DOT fleet safety program.This position is responsible for administering fleet safety processes, monitoring driver performance, coordinating incident follow-up, delivering safety training and using fleet safety data to identify trends and reduce vehicle-related risk. The Fleet Safety Specialist partners closely with Operations, Human Resources, Asset Management, Risk Management, Insurance and field leadership to promote a proactive safety culture among employees who operate company vehicles. This role also collaborates with the DOT Safety Specialist and Director of Fleet Safety & DOT Compliance on matters involving DOT-regulated drivers or vehicles. This positive requires travel of up to 20% to various locations throughout the Unites States to conduct fleet safety training, support field audits and assist with safety initiatives.
