Fleet Maintenance SupervisorSupervises preventive and corrective maintenance repairs on Shamrock Fleet vehicles; including but not limited to tractors, trucks, refrigerated trailers, and other Fleet vehicles. Essential Duties: Maintain a safe and clean working environment, report any safety concerns or unsafe tool conditions to Fleet Manager. Manage, prioritize and assign tasks for multiple service providers, working closely with Transportation & Fleet management, to minimize equipment downtime (in conjunction with the Fleet Maintenance Manager). Quality control reviews/spot checks of work performed, noting areas of opportunity/improvement. Coordinate and approve the maintenance of all equipment, including tractors and trailers, as measured by industry standards, DOT compliance laws and company policies regarding equipment maintenance. Maintain & control parts and tire inventories to increase mechanic efficiencies & limit potential downtime. Review and approve vendor invoices.

Responds to emergencies and time sensitive afterhours service needs. Perform Mobile Fleet repairs (as needed); either on Shamrock property or while performing emergency roadside repairs, utilizing a Fleet Mobile repair vehicle. Communicates with any and all divisions as necessary regarding the status of repairs. Communicates with the Fleet Maintenance Manager on all of the following; personnel/staffing issues, tooling, safety, division communication, facility maintenance, training and any other relevant items regarding Fleet Maintenance. Inspect, analyze, troubleshoot and diagnose repairs for heavy duty tractors, trucks, and trailers. Driving of tractor/trailers and/or trucks for purposes of test drives and/or the return of vehicles to the various Shamrock division facilities. Participate in meetings and training programs as measured by the goals and objectives set by the Fleet Maintenance Manager.

Responsible for following all Federal, State, and Local regulations, laws, and guidelines for the Fleet Maintenance & Fuel Facility. Proactively identify maintenance gaps. Must be flexible to work with the demands of the operation to include, but not limited to overnights, weekends, holidays, and travel. Oversee the following daily: PM scheduling and tracking to ensure all PM inspections are performed timely, to the highest quality, and meet compliance standards. Communicate the availability of equipment that is out of service with dispatch and any other operations personnel. Monitor all off-site repairs for timeliness and approve as necessary. Fleet CSA score (Maintenance Basic) and all incoming RSI's.

Inspect all breakdown repairs. Inventory – Charge parts and tires as needed and ensure proper levels, pricing, and accuracy. Review and approve billing invoices (tires, Penske, wash. Etc.) Collect organize and file fuel receipts. Update XRS as needed.Qualifications: 5+ years in a heavy-duty truck repair environment; degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience The candidate must be at least 21 years of age and have a clean driving record for the past 39 months High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
