Fixed Term Contractor - Cost Control Specialist - New Fab Design Department
TSMC Arizona is looking for a Fixed Term Contractor – Cost Control Specialist – New Fab Design Department to join our F21 Fab project located in sunny Phoenix, Arizona. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Cost Control Specialist to join our D&CD Cost Team as a fixed-term contractor. Responsibilities include managing and coordinating the bidding process internally and externally, preparing detailed cost estimations and benchmarks for various projects, developing regular progress reports, cost forecasts, and financial reports, performing data entry, reporting, and analysis using Microsoft Excel, collaborating with project teams to support documentation and scheduling tasks, and executing other administrative duties as assigned.
Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Finance, Construction Management, or a related field. For candidates without relevant work experience, their degree program or extracurricular activities must involve data analysis or construction-related coursework. Bilingual ability in both English and Chinese is required as this position involves communicating with foreign business partners in Taiwan.
Preferred qualifications include 2 years of experience in the construction or semiconductor industry, knowledge of cost management or cost estimation, advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and familiarity with estimation software including bluebeam, planSwift, or stack. Fundamental understanding of project management methodologies is also beneficial.
Personality characteristics include being highly enthusiastic and interested in handling data and cost-related tasks, having excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, and being resilient with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Work location is 5088 W. Innovation Circle, Phoenix, AZ 85083. Candidates must be willing and able to work on-site at our Phoenix Arizona facility. Standard work hours are Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM or 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Fixed-term duration is a 12-month temporary assignment.
