Fixed Assets Accountant

To support continuous business growth, the remote Fixed Assets Accountant will take ownership of fixed asset accounting processes, manage month-end close activities, and drive process optimization while ensuring compliance with internal policies and US GAAP. Key responsibilities Own and maintain the fixed asset register, ensuring accuracy and compliance with SOX requirements Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual fixed asset close activities, including reconciliations and reporting Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation within fixed asset accounting workflows Required qualifications 6+ years of accounting experience with substantial hands-on experience in fixed assets accounting Strong understanding of US GAAP and SOX/internal control frameworks Experience with ERP systems, preferably NetSuite or similar financial platforms Proven ability to manage high transaction volumes in a fast-paced environment Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial reporting and reconciliation tools
