Fiduciary Accountant Opportunity
A leading law firm is seeking a Fiduciary Accountant for its Naples, Florida office, with availability to support any of the firm's other offices as needed. This role involves preparing and managing a wide range of trust and estate tax matters, including federal and state estate tax returns (Form 706), fiduciary income tax returns for estates and trusts (Form 1041), and individual and non-profit tax returns (Forms 1040, 709, and 5227).
Responsibilities also include reviewing estate planning documents and trust agreements, preparing trust and estate probate and fiduciary accountings, maintaining tracking and accounting systems for client investments, addressing IRS notices, and ensuring deadlines are met across all filings and accountings.
The ideal candidate holds a degree in Accounting with at least two years of experience as a tax Fiduciary Accountant, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, Estate Val Software (EVP), ProSystem FX, FastTax, and GEMS. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities are essential.
This is an exempt, full-time role with a 37.5-hour work week, competitive benefits, and generous PTO (25 days in year one, increasing to 30). The salary range is $80,000–$100,000, dependent on experience.
